About StretchMaxx

StretchMaxx is a versatile and effective stretching tool that is designed to help you stretch wherever you go! It is a compact and easy to carry. It includes a rope, leg harnesses, and a pulley system. Its hands-free design allows you to stretch one leg with the other, while lying comfortably on your back. Your upper body will be relaxed, ensuring your spine is properly aligned during stretches.

Created by Chris Simons, a fitness and wellness coach with over 35 years of experience, StretchMaxx is designed to be your partner in resistant and pnf stretching, as well as many other stretching modalities. The innovative pulley system gives you control over the intensity and style of your stretches, making it suitable for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. How It Works?

Step 1

Step 1: Setup

  • Attach the door stopper between the door, about knee height. We will call this the “connection point” later on.
  • Double-check that the door is closed and StretchMaxx is securely set up.
  • Lie down with your head towards the connection point and place both legs in the harnesses.
  • Insert the foot from the bigger loop so the heel will rest in the harness comfortably.
  • The StretchMaxx pulley system will be behind you, supporting both legs with the rope.
  • You are now ready to use the StretchMaxx!

Step 2

Step 2: Adjust

  • Your first position should be comfortable.
  • Start moving your legs gently back and forth.
  • If you feel too much pressure in your hamstrings, move your body closer to the connection point.
  • If you move your legs in StretchMaxx and your heels touch the ground, move your body away from the connection point.
  • Keep in mind that as your muscles become more flexible, you may want to adjust your position during stretching as well.
  • Easy does it; do not overstretch. It is better to take your time with the process.

Step 3

Step 3: Stretch

  • While you stretch, make sure to relax your shoulders, keep your hips on the ground and breathe gently through your nose.
  • Keep the intensity mild and get more out of the stretching.
